We recently went on a trip to Italy, and as all parents know; when you bring young children on a plane, expect to spend most of the time entertaining them. My 9 yo is very well behaved (of course 😉 ), but flights are boring for kids. I had brought my Reedori with me, with the intention of journalling a bit on the go, and my Midori for journalling and drawing every night on the balcony. The last part of the plan didn´t go according to…eh.. plan, but I blame it on the heat. The temperatures were close to 40 C, twice as much as it was at home, and when the evening came, I just didn´t have any energy left, so painting on the balcony only happened once.
So my Midori stayed mostly in our hotel room, but my Reedori went everywhere. It kept my daughter occupied on the plane, we played tic tac toe and I drew monsters which she coloured. I took it with me on all our trips around Rome and jotted down a few sentences every time we sat down, I took it to Mount Vesuvio and to Pompeii… And during that week, I fell in love with it ❤
Reece Preston, who owns WickandHide on etsy, read my last post and contacted me to say he was sorry I didn´t fall in love with the notebook when I received it. He generously offered a 30% off coupon code for my readers for all purchases over £22. The code is LOVEALL1 and is valid until midnight 31. August GMT.
I was going to try a no spend August, but I admit I´m going to make one exception. I fell in love with my little planner, and I´m going to order one more. The colours are beautiful, and the leather turned out to be just perfect for me.
